"Faith Deployed"

I ordered the book Faith Deployed: Daily Encouragement for Military Wives by Jocelyn Green. I have been friends of the book's Facebook page, which the author updates with Bible verses and prayer requests every day. (They also have a website). Some days, those Bible verses are the only things that keep my feet on the ground. The more and more the site spoke to me, I knew I needed to get the book. I got a used one, not just for the sake that's it's cheaper, but so that when I read it, I can be reminded that some other wife used this book for the same purpose. The worn out pages and marks in the book (if there will be any) will remind me I'm not alone in this battle. I'm so excited to get my book, which might be here now. It doesn't have a tracking number, but should be here between two days ago and November 1st. Maybe I shall go check our mailboxes! There's also a second book, Faith Deployed Again: More Daily Encouragement for Military Wives, which I'm guessing are just more stories, more devotionals, and so forth. It's likely geared towards a wife going through a second deployment who's already read the first book. I'll be posting an informal review of this book once I get it and crack it open. I never have time to read--even my homework half the time--but I'm going to do a little academic sacrificing and put the comfort of God into this crazy deployed-husband's-wife life.
