Fettuccine Alfredo, Parmesan Broccoli, & Herbed Garlic Bread

So if you read my bio, you know I'm obsessed with cooking. Right now, I'm doing my homework and watching Paula Deen--Michael Simon is helping her out today. He's such an amazing cook! I'm inspired to cook dinner tonight. I'm sure my mom will be much relieved to not have to come home from teaching and cook! So this is what I've got for tonight (links to recipes): Low-Cal Fettuccine Alfredo, Parmesan Broccoli, and Herbed Garlic Bread. Below are what these dishes look like when the Food Network chefs make them. I'll update this post later tonight with pictures of how mine turns out! I've never made any of these before--well besides a standard garlic bread--so it'll be a new cooking experience.

My version:

Well, because they all took around 20-30 minutes to prep and make, it was quite chaotic doing all three at once. Especially when the Alfredo sauce requires you to constantly whisk it--no stopping. The recipe for the Alfredo sauce also wasn't enough for all the noodles. I'd probably make one and a half recipes worth. If not, two. The broccoli was amazing. Definitely will be making that again. And the bread was good, too--just a simple garlic, butter, herbed bread.
