Thank You T-Mobile!

So as many of you know, David and I have been in a constant battle with many things, one being our phone company. I had Verizon before we got married, and in December, a few months before our wedding, I joined his plan with T-Mobile. Well, at school in my little apartment, I have NO service. At my parent's house--NO service. My drive to and from school--NO service. You get the picture. David calls and can't hear a word I'm saying because I'm breaking up, and 99% of the time, we drop the call--and all the military wives know we can't call them back. We just have to hope they can call us back. So it's been so upsetting for the last few months. A week ago, I sent a letter to T-Mobile about the issue and explained to them how precious our phone time is, and they called today and said they are going to end our contract without making us pay the Early Termination Fee that is $200. So, this was the highlight of my day. It's been a major stress in our lives the last few months, because communication is all we have to maintain our relationship for now--there's no sweet glances at each other, no hugs, nothing--just words. I am literally thanking God over something like T-Mobile's understanding. We all know how tough it can be to get through to corporate people when it comes to money and sympathy. So, I asked them to terminate our services on Friday, so that I'll be able to travel home (seeing as the nearest Verizon store is on Hull Street an hour away). I probably sound crazy to be so excited over something so small, but phone service is essential to the military couple, especially when you need to be within reach at all times. So, while we had a decent run with T-Mobile, we are on to the amazing service of Verizon (and only for $10 more a month than no service at all with T-Mobile). We both want the Droid 3, which is a touch screen with a slide out keyboard. David has requested that before I send it to him, I load all the awesome games I can possibly find in the Market on it. He can't use it to talk, but he can definitely play Angry Birds :)

The Droid 3!
